Hi! My name is Emilia and I am a Planning, Public Policy, and Management (PPPM) student at the University of Oregon. This summer I went abroad on the Sustainable Bicycle Transportation in Europe program, where I had the opportunity to explore 5 cities in 3 countries and learn about the infrastructure, culture, and politics that make these places so successful for active transportation. I am an avid biker at school in Eugene, OR, and at home in San Francisco, and this program was like bike heaven! While abroad, I kept this blog to record observations during my travels.
